No Advisory had its first jam sesh in the fall of 2006. 4 high school friends who had the same love for punk rock would hammer out tunes in a garage day after day in Simi Valley. After some member changes early the band took off and played shows almost non stop. Ventura Theater, Cobalt Cafe, house shows, anywhere No Advisory could plug in they would play. The band has recently been working on their 2nd album “Everyone Is Stupid” which is set for a Summer release. David, Jake, Hunter, and Zach all take part in the local music scene as much as possible to book shows, and just have an all around great time with everyone. Jake is a local sound engineer who dedicates hours upon hours to record local musicians at affordable prices. David is promoter, stage manager, and mentor to upcoming bands and promoters. No Advisory writes fast, catchy, and in your face punk rock and plans to continue to spread their music as far as possible.
